Intro
Goal:Introduce setting, main character and overall tone of the game.
Idea:Create a dreary, silent-movie inspired abstraction of worker exploitation under Capitalism
Execution:
Content of each textbox:
- Textbox1: "You work, every day."
- Textbox2: "You work for your boss."
- Textbox3: "You work for your landlord"
- Textbox4: “You work, just to stay alive"
- Textbox5: "And while you work for nothing..."
- Textbox6: "The world is slowly dying, and the people are suffering."
- Textbox7: "And those who own everything, refuse to move out of the way."
- Textbox8: "Something has to be done!"
Boss introductions
Goal: Within a few seconds, give players a better understanding who their main antagonists are.
Idea:Create fake twitter profiles for each boss
Execution:
Stage and Boss descriptions
Goal:Provide players with additional (optional) information about the areas they are traversing, as well the Boss they are fighting, while keeping everything contained to one screen (default resolution 256x144)
Execution:
Stage description: "Stave Eminence didn't like the look of the native trees of this forest, so he burned it down and replaced all of them with state-of-the-art plastic trees that also serve as hiding places for his large security detail."
Boss description: "After selling his company to DR Boss, Stave Eminence decided that he wanted to 'go back to nature' and moved on to live a simple life in the woods and to focus more on his philanthropic efforts, like funding private military companies and weird eugenics research."
